10 Minutes to Twitter DVD released
San Antonio, TX. Nan Palmero and Erik Darmstetter of SalesBy5 have published a simple DVD to explain in ten minutes how to get on Twitter and then how to build a strategy to use it. This video was fueled by the hundreds of business owners, marketers and sales people that inquired about Twitter and why it matters, as well as their struggles with getting on and using it. The first ten minutes take you through how to set up your account and get started on Twitter, including downloads, links and hands-on instruction. Then, another ten minutes explain strategies to use Twitter to help build your business, sell your product/service and brand your company or organization. Why ten minutes? “It can be that quick if you know where to go and what to do, otherwise it is a process that can take up to seven hours or discourage altogether,” says Nan Palmero, CIO.
SalesBy5’s 10 Minutes to Twitter DVD debuted at the Fortune Small Business Sales and Marketing Summit in New Orleans, April 21-22. There, the Salesby5 team taught over 75 business owners how to secure their name and company name when signing up for Twitter. The attendees that were on Twitter were unaware of how to use it to find the customers who need their services. SalesBy5 research shows that few business people on Twitter have an actual strategy for using it and other social media outlets to increase sales or manage their brand. The latest data from MediaPost, April 26, 2009, shows that people on Twitter value getting information in a timely manner and find it exciting to learn new things from people. “We wanted a DVD for our typical customer; the person who as no time but needs to understand the what, how and why of social web opportunities” says Erik Darmstetter, founder of SalesBy5.
